Policies for Cancellations, no shows and late arrivals
24 Hours notice is required.
First late cancellation or no show is subject to a $40.00 fee per person.
Future late cancellations and no shows will be billed 100% unless the time can be filled with another client.
Late arrivals receive what is left of the appointment time with a full charge fee. It is at the discretion of the therapist(s) to give the full time of the service if their schedule allows.
Rescheduling: If you must reschedule your service, 24 hours notice is required to avoid a $20.00 charge.
Gift Cards and eGift Cards Balance Spa Gift Cards Never Expire! Balance Spa is NOT responsible for lost or stolen Gift Cards, and we will not replace them. Gift Certificates/Cards are not redeemable for cash or credit. Gift Card sales are final and non-refundable.
Can I book online?
Yes! For the fastest service possible we encourage you to book online. All treatments are available for online booking. Groups of 3 or more and more complicated bookings should call us directly.
What if i Didn't get a confirmation after booking online?
If you book your treatment(s) properly you will always be notified via email and/or text of your appointment confirmation. You must fully complete all of the required information before your appointment is finalized. If you did not receive a confirmation, then your appointment has not been booked. Please call us right away.
Can i book an appointment by email?
You may request an appointment by email, but it is not a guarantee of an appointment, until you receive a confirmation via email and/or text. For the fastest and most accurate service we urge you to book online. If you would like to book through email, please give us the following information to expedite the process: First and Last name. Phone Number. Name of service you are trying to book. Days and times that you are available.
Can i book an appointment through facebook messenger?
No. We do not accept appointments through messenger on facebook. However, you may follow a link to our online booking page.
What time do you open and close?
Our hours are by appointment only. Our earliest appointment starts at 10:00 am and our latest appointment ends at 8:00 pm. We are closed Sunday and Wednesday. The spa closes:
8 pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
4 pm Friday
How do i use my prepaid discounted service when booking online at your spa?
When you are booking online, you will choose the service you are looking to schedule. For example: Couples Swedish massage for 50 minutes, then you would choose the appropriate add ons (if there are any) that go with your service like "aromatherapy" "foot scrub", this is where you would add any upgrades as well. You can finish the the reservation without any code and your service dollar amount will be adjusted the day of your appointment to reflect that you have already paid for the service with the exception of any upgrades you have chosen. Please fill out the all of the required information to complete the reservation.
The online booking is asking me for a valid credit card, will i be charged?
A valid credit card is required for ALL bookings to guarantee your reservation. You may choose to "Reserve without paying"or "Pay now". You will only be charged if you choose to "Pay now". If you have prepaid for your service you are not required to pay again, you will not be charged any fees if you choose "Reserve without paying".
What time should i arrive for my appointment?
It is important to arrive for your appointment at least 15 minutes early to ensure that you get your full amount of time for your treatment. If you arrive late your treatment time may be cut short.
How long can i stay at the spa?
You may stay and enjoy the sauna or just relax in our resting lounge areas after your treatment as long as you like up until closing time.
What do i wear to the spa?
We recommend that you wear comfortable clothing. We also ask that you bring a bathing suit to enjoy the amenities. A robe and slippers will be provided for you at check in. We ask that you wear the robe and slippers provided for you in the common areas of the spa. We provide lockers for your personal belongings and we urge you to leave your valuable items at home.
*Balance Spa welcomes all guests 18 years and older. Please call for 17 years and under. *We are a non-smoking facility. *Please do not bring valuables to the spa. *Gift Cards may be purchased online or at the spa. *Appointments may be booked online.
Mothers to be Please note that any heat treatments and some spa facilities are not suitable for Mothers to be. We highly recommend that you consult with your doctor prior to your spa visit. Soft Voices, Quiet Minds Please speak softly throughout the spa, for others such as yourself, are relaxing during their treatment. Health Considerations Please inform us of any medical conditions or special needs prior to your treatment. If you are pregnant or have high blood pressure, avoid any heat treatments. Gratuities Gratuities are not included with any of our spa services or gift certificates. All gratuities are at the client’s discretion. A recommended amount is 18-20% on services amount. Cell Phone Policy We understand the desire to keep in touch. However, in consideration of all of our guests, we ask that your phone be silenced beyond our spa reception area. Your Rights and Responsibilities as a Spa Guest As a spa guest, it’s your responsibility to:
Communicate your preferences, expectations and concerns
Communicate complete and accurate health information and reasons for your visit
Treat staff and other guests with courtesy and respect
Use products, equipment and therapies as directed
Engage in efforts to preserve the environment
Adhere to the spa’s published policies and procedures
Have good clean personal hygiene
As a spa guest, you have the right to:
A clean, safe and comfortable environment
Stop a treatment at any time, for any reason
Be treated with consideration, dignity and respect
Confidential treatment of your disclosed health information
Trained staff who respectfully conduct treatments according to treatment protocols and the spa’s policies and procedures
